A Beijing drone-engine reseller tied to the Shahed-136 engine lineage has been designated by the UK since February 2024 but appears on no US list. Its US-designated peers were listed for the same engine family.

The UK designated it for producing UAV engines found in Russian drones in Ukraine, and disqualified its directors in 2025. [1][2]

For most attendees, physical risk is moderate. It rises to elevated for anyone planning public protest, advocacy outside UN zones, or reporting critical of the Turkish government.

The host agreement bars interference in Türkiye’s internal affairs, judged case by case. Raids before the NATO summit detained at least 209 people, and Antalya banned protests during it. [3][7][24]
